Castle Hill
Castle Hill Conservation Area is an awesome place for a morning stroll. Good photo compositions can be found all over the place. We didn't get great light that day but at least some moody clouds.
Frigid mountain rainwater? Any bath is worthwhile for a dirtbag cyclist. Stopping at Castle Hill was a must on our trip over Arthur's Pass. Wandering through the otherworldly rock formations made us feel like little kids - you just can't help but play hide and go seek through the tunnels or climb to the highest peak.
