My father supported this organization for many years and was instrumental in rebuilding the Pond St School as their center. RARA dedicated the building in my fathers name after he passed away a few years ago. It is now called Harkins House. www.raraagency.org
The History of Lowell is closely tied to its location along the Pawtucket Falls of the Merrimack River, from being an important fishing ground for the Pennacook tribe to providing water power for the factories that formed the basis of the city's economy for a century. Great place to explore and walk through history!!
