Well somewhere near - this was sunrise on the Irrawaddy River as we took the boat from Bagan to Mandalay - we did the tourist delux version which only took all day - the local ferry takes about 3 days.

This photo was taken on a day long boat ride from Mandalay to Old Began. The section designated for Westerners consisted of white plastic lawn chairs for comfort. This boat however was more for locals traveling between small towns. It was a wonderful experience to sit with the locals and converse with them as best we could. Along the way we saw farmers riding ox-plows, food supplies being dropped-off/picked-up, and Buddhist monks taking an afternoon stroll. #goldenhour #burma #myanmar #bagan #mandalay #sunset #colorful
