Downtown Punxsutawney has more to offer than just Phil-mania. Take for instance this old street clock. I like old pre-digital street clocks.

Just outside of town this rusty old abandoned gas station looked like a pretty cool place for a photo shoot. I had maybe two minutes to stop but could have easily spent two hours shooting here.

The best things about a #roadtrip are the unexpected and unplanned things you find !

Gobblers Knob... well, I guess that is better than naming it Knob Gobblers.

We stopped to see the famous ceremonial pulpit of Punxsutawney Phil, the mythical groundhog in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.

We have all seen Bill Murray in Groundhog Day but the ceremony of Phil's prognostication does not actually take place in town like the movie suggests but two miles east of town at the unusually named Gobblers Knob.

"Phantastic Phils!" Public Art Project is brought to you by The Punxsutawney Groundhog Club and NW PA's Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau. You will not be able to avoid these when visiting the area so... enjoy.

There are 32 big ole' fiberglass groundhogs on the streets throughout the community.

This one is "Phillage" Artist - Kelly Porada. He is standing in front of his burrow, which is located in Barclay Square, attached to the library.

Viewing windows let visitors see Phil all year round.
