"The Brooks was amazing, super kewl old school Hotel with all the modern amenities, rooms were really nice and clean, with everything you need or want, maybe a bit smaller then I am used to, but not a problem at all. Emily was fantastic and made sure we felt welcomed from the first step inside the Brooks. Sherry in the Bar was totally chill and you get a free drink and snacks the first night you are there. The staff was so friendly and fun. They made sure everything was perfect. Absolutely NO sanfus. OMG the showers in the room had such great water pressure and style. After a 70 mile bike ride doing the Hiawatha twice up and down, up and down plus part of the town and other trails the shower was maybe the tops of the trip, lol lol.
The Town of Wallace has such kewl history and super great places to check out and OMG the dinning was next level and the pricing was like from 10 years ago. The fainting goat is one you have to go to, I mean HAVE to, the same for the Blackboard, both get 10 stars in my book.
Hats off to the Brooks and all their staff. We will be back."
"Linda is awesome! Super sweet and very hospital. The room we stayed had bugs coming out from the bathroom floor cracks. They coud have spend at least $50 to recaulk the bathroom floor and bathroom sink. It is time to replace the mattress. The box spring was flipped upside down. Very uncomfortable. Was told a tree fell on the roof a couple of weeks ago, the roof is currently covered with tap. There is a very weird smell in our room. I would not stay there next time but for those who wants to just sleep and go, it's probably worth it. "
"The property could use some new carpets and a little refresher paint, but overall, the bed was super comfy which we needed for a good night's rest! The check in was smooth and we received a good coffee shop recommendation from the nice lady. We didn't partake in the continental breakfast. If you having mobility issues, be aware that there are stairs, no elevator, to the second floor. We will be staying here again, as it was pleasant."
