"After flying in with four of us from Los Angeles on a Red Eye, we had to drive around for 4-5 hours until we were able to check in at 4pm, however after hours of trying to get into the property with no answer on the contact number ,we finally were able to have the local property manager come out and say that the property overbooked and had no room for us. I spent over 2 hours on the phone getting the run around by Expedia with mixed stories of our accommodations. FINALLY with now the story is...

"My experience did not match the listing. I was asked to make payment outside the platform and the check-in process was not clear. I would not recommend this property. ⸻ ⭐⭐ Balanced Review The property did not meet expectations. When I arrived, the check-in process was unclear and the home appeared to be partially occupied. Top Thornwood Hotel Reviews

Royal Regency Hotel

8/10 Good

"The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, some of the front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. Overall, it wasn’t perfect, but I would still recommend this hotel."

West Gate Inn Nyack

8/10 Good

"We had a family event to attend in Nyack so we chose to stay here. The staff was very nice and made us feel welcomed. The rooms had an outdated feel but were functional and clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were satisfactory. The free breakfast was appreciated. Good selection of hot and cold items. We enjoyed the pancakes, French toast, yogurt, and muffins. Coffee was good, too. For the price, this hotel was a solid choice for a long weekend. Parking was included and convenient as well."

J House Greenwich

10/10 Excellent

"The owners of this hotel spared absolutely no expense in making it uniquely luxurious. We didn’t like that our room and patio were on the ground floor, basically in the parking lot, but the rooms had all remote control window coverings, so that took the sting off a bit for our one-night stay. Another compensation was the decor of the common areas. The decor was quite literally, fantastic. All kinds of interesting art including sculptures and various objects d’art. We did patronize the restaurant which is owned and run by Tony, a friend of the hotelier. We were there on a Saturday night and Tony’s was mobbed with diners and drinkers. Nevertheless, Tony was circling around, and approached us in the bar with an offer to take our picture on the swing. Yes, there is a swing in the bar! In fact, two of them."
