"A beautiful property set in beautiful surroundings that had every mod con and item you could possibly need! The beds were so comfy and the ensuite shower, well wow! I did not want to get out! The water is so soft and the pressure is far more superior compared to where we live! We visited the beach too for a couple of days, which was amazing, The Trawlerman gets a mention for the best fish n chips we’ve had in a long time! "As always I was very open minded about staying here, thought it might be overly pretentious but I was very pleasantly surprised, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The grounds are very well taken care of, even in winter, the hotel is spotlessly clean and so are the rooms, which are nice and spacious. The restaurant was quite plain but the food is certainly not, I had the roast chicken as I said a Sunday night, it was well presented, beautifully cooked, and so much of it, I am gluten free and they catered for, which was a really lovely surprise, and the best chocolate brownie I have ever tasted. Breakfast was equally as good. I would certainly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there again, it was such a shame I didnt have time to visit the spa."
