The property is currently flying the Victoria Inn banner but isn’t operating as one. Front desk staff unresponsive when trying to call the front desk (gave up after 3 attempts to get a hair dryer). I had to ask a highly intoxicated man to move from blocking my door upon returning to my room. Hotel has employed a military level of security to monitor property, doesn’t really make me feel safe. For the $200 after taxes a night there are plenty of better options in town.

The property is extremely run down. Our room stunk really bad. The heat was cranked and it felt like a sauna when we walked in. I tried to adjust the thermostat and nothing happened. The wall was peeling and the floor was filthy. My kids were excited for the water slide but it was only open Friday-Sunday. We left and went to a different hotel.

Room need upgrade for sure, I find an empty pepsi bottle when try to move the couch, carpet is pretty dusty, pillow horrible. Washroom smell unpleasant. The staff is good water park and swimmping pool need to do deep clean. When I was the hot tub wasn't working thats kinda upset me and the family. Over all the hotel need upgraded.

Old furniture, dubious bed sheets that looked wrinkled and stained. I changed my initial room where it was obvious the bed sheets haven't been changed. The second room was a bit better but still very wrinkled. If the bedsheets were changed it means the hotel uses a very rudimentary laundry facility. Sofas and carpets very used and dirty. The mattress wasn't confortable, same for the pillows. Very hot inside the room (towards the inside of the building facing the pool). Noise from the pool machines. The bathroom was clean. Definitly not the best, but the only available with an airport shuttle at the time I booked. Not happy with the price paid and definitely not happy with the extra 40 $ paid for Expedia's booking service.

Bad service
Booked for family stay cation for Christmas holiday. Mainly because of the slide and pool area. Check in was not good. Was given a room which was already occupied (very embarrassing) then was given another room which was an extremely long walk for someone which mobility issues. Due to covid, pool times had to be pre-booked which were 45 min time slots, so not very long. We booked at check-in but when we went down we could not access the pool area as all doors were locked. We Had to go all the way to front desk in our swimsuits which then we were asked to show ID and vaxx passes which we did not have on us, as we dont carry personal belongings down when we go swimming. This should have been specified and asked when booking pool time,for quicker easier access. We had to rebook for a later time due to the amount of time it took going back and forth. Kids were crying. Terrible customer service when I explained to them how much easier it would be if they did these things in advance and their response was in an angry tone 'it's just how it is'. When got to pool area hot tub was cold and i was informed it 'needed a part' big disappointment. I had also called 2 days prior to trip to ensure pool area was open and was not informed about the hot tub. That likely would have changed my mind. The Kids did love the slide. room was very nice, modern and comfortable that was the only good part.

The change in procedure and flip flopping back and forth with requirements does pose unnecessary challenges that we wish we could also avoid. I do hope that you are able to stay again when things are more stable and we will work to ensure that stay is a great one.

Well worn down hotel .
This is a run down old hotel, the room are tries and the linens need a refresh. The conditiin of this hotels in just sad overall, I used their airpořt shuttle, this van should be off the road it is not safe. They cheap out with an antenna system for the tv is the room, so if your hoping to keep up with any shows your following well good luck. Hope you have steaming at home.

Victoria Inn was a breath of fresh air after I decided to move from a different hotel (due to cleanliness). Originally there was an issue with my reservation, however the ladies at the front desk were super kind and helpful. They were able to find me a room and I was very happy with my stay and a clean room. I will definitely be book with Victoria Inn again as they offer shuttle service to the airport and the hotel is close to restaurants, Tim Horton and Metro (grocery).

The hotel reeked of cigarette, and the front desk will not inform you if food is left for you. They do not allow delivery people to bring the food to your room. Sketchy characters seemed to stand by the doors. The security guard is like a 16 year old that walks around on his phone and does not do much. Idk not the best overal stay. The best part about the stay would be the slide at the pool, but it’s just not enough for me to ever stay there again.

Disappointing for the amount of money you pay
Crowds at entrances smoking and smoking marijuana - wish the hotel would have designated spots for such activities. My room was like an ice box - unable to put any sort of heat in. Requested a heater for my room but staff never showed up with one. Shower had very little pressure. Kinda disappointed with this hotel.

The pool was closed during our visit unfortunately. The staff were AMAZING and very helpful. The area overall is quite busy, but it is in a great location (walking distance to many businesses and restaurants) if you need a convenient place to stay for a night or two.
