"When we arrived to our room, the room was very hot and there was no way we would be able to stay and sleep in there as a family of 4 and the air con was not working (in the UK heat wave). I went down to reception and spoke to Maria who went above and beyond to help us more rooms. There was no more double rooms to fit us but was moved to interconnecting rooms. So just wanted to say Maria was fantastic and a credit to the hotel team."

"Bed was comfy - No guidance to when breakfast was when checked in. Had to pay extra for gym although advertised on booking. The bathroom was not cleaned properly and dust on the mirrors - could hear all doors slam and people in rooms - breakfast was disappointing unfortunately - gyms the best part"

"We were lucky enough to hold our wedding at The Oatlands Park Hotel. We had a celebratory meal in the Garden Room. We also stayed in the Superior Deluxe Room. It was a very hot day, fortunately the hotel has air conditioning which was wonderful. The room was very clean and a very comfortable bed. The food for the wedding meal was delicious. We can’t fault the staff. They are extremely helpful and friendly. We would like to say a very special thank you to Lorna from the Events team Matthew and Mikey. We are so happy we booked Oatlands Park Hotel and would thoroughly recommend them. Thank you Debbie and Alan"

"The room was clean but the lack of air conditioning really let it down. Although we stayed in a particularly warm spell, I imagine that it would be pretty uncomfortable a lot of the time. It was difficult to sleep due to the heat. The staff were really friendly but not particularly efficient in the Sports Bar. Many people were queuing for quite some time to get a drink. The vegetarian options in the Sports Bar were extremely limited. The option picked was awful but a refund was given without any issues. The non-vegetarian choices made were ok but nothing special for the prices charged. It put us off dining in the restaurant. Breakfast was ok and could have been improved by different coffee options, more fresh fruit, and better quality pastries. Labels on items would have helped those with dietary issues/restrictions. All in all we did enjoy our stay but a few tweaks would have made it somewhere to return to."

"I was only here a night but it was great. The person at check-in (David) was really friendly. I didn't use any of the facilities, as I was attending a party but ... oh, the bed - probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in at a hotel. I liked that there were black out curtains as well. There was noise from outside, but only to be expected form a town centre hotel I always take ear plugs)"
