This property requires some maintenance as the hotel has a smell to it from poor ventilation and aged facilities. Overall this hotel was too busy and noisy for our liking. The facilities were not great and we were not given any notice that certain swim hours are limited to only male or female guests. The breakfast was good.

Staying at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel in Tiberias was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into the beautifully remodeled room, I was captivated by the attention to detail and the stunning view overlooking the boardwalk. The location couldn’t have been more perfect, situated in the heart of everything, yet offering a serene escape. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff, Talia the public relations manager in particular was extremely helpful and polite. Every request or concern I had was swiftly addressed with a smile, making me feel incredibly well taken care of throughout my stay. Their attentiveness and professionalism truly exceeded my expectations, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience. I can confidently say that my time at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel was nothing short of five stars, and I eagerly look forward to returning for another unforgettable stay.

Adequate hotel, unfriendly staff

Good location on lakefront with nice pool area. Rooms clean but a bit tired looking. Breakfast had good choice but hot food was barely warm. Staff however were unhelpful and borderline rude. At check in we were given no information at all about the hotel, breakfast times, pool times etc. I asked about pool times and was told it was open until 7pm but when we went to the pool at 5.50 it was already closed. We had ordered a room with an extra bed, which was not provided and we had to ask for it. We were not given any information about parking and got a ticket and fine on our first day. Lifts were often busy and as well as other rude guests barging in front of us, we even had a staff member push in front of us to get in the lift. Overall hotel was adequate but rude staff would put me off staying with this hotel again.

A nice tourist hotel in a very good location. Right on the lake and a short walk from the promenade. Not luxury, but perfectly good. Only negative, filled with tour groups. We went down to breakfast just as about three bus loads of holy land tours arrived. Kind of a mob scene

The staff is beyond amazing!!!! We had the hardest night and couldn’t find a hotel but they were super helpful!! About the cleanliness of the hotel it could use a real upgrade. Not the cleanest hotels I’ve been at, especially at that price bracket.

Hotel itself was attractive in appearance . Room was clean and adequate space . Swimming pool and hot tub in spa area were 2 good amenities . Breakfast was Israeli as expected . Staff at front desk were nice but seemed overwhelmed by their system . Yom kipper complicated our stay there .
