"We have stayed here several times over the years and always enjoyed a friendly welcome and a relaxed way of going on. We enjoy the typical German style of a family owned, host on site experience... and the breakfast is good! Excellent location too. Bochum town centre is only a few minutes away on the frequent tram which stops nearby. Would recommend Haus Vocke to anyone!"

"Stayed 2 nights for the Dortmund v Liverpool game. Excellent clean apartments and the owner could not have been more helpful. Location is ideal being within walking distance from the station and the town centre"

"The property was conveniently located to the bus/train station. Within walking distance to many restaurants/bars and shopping. It was very noisy as there were groups of people getting off the busses ad 3am/4am yelling/chanting and waking us up. "

"The hotel was good and new. However the check -in was bad due to unfriendly staff and poor service. It looks like the young receptionists need training in customer service. Also, as gold member, I was not offered early check-in. So I had to leave my luggage and return back at 3pm. Regarding breakfast, it was average compared to Germany high standard of breakfast. "
