"We were visiting Puy du feu and the room was perfectly adequate as somewhere to sleep. A bit basic and tea making facilities would have been nice. It was very hot so having no windows was a blessing and leaving the door open with the shutter down helped. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and buffet breakfast better than expected "

"Maybe it was my fault but I did not realise there were communal showers and toilets. You have to pay for a towel-small charge. The bed was the worst I have ever slept in-it appeared to be a solid piece of foam. The wifi stopped working in the morning and was not repaired. The staff do not speak english and did nothing about the wifi. Maybe you get for you pay for!"

Lets be positive...the staff were all very friendly and attentive and the manager (whose name I missed but has a nice dog) was very good in dealing with my complaint and said that she had only recently joined and recognised there was a lot to do. "i was given the warmest welcome imaginable after a trying day. a glass of wine and a bowl of delicious homemade soup, all in the excellent company of my hosts. the room was adorable and comfortable, and although my stay was short, it was restorative and memorable. i highly recommend this lovely place and its charming hosts!"

"Very disappointing. Room was functional but v dated (bad 1980s) low quality decor e.g flimsy black wardrobe with no doors. Also, i disliked the fact they charge extra for coffee in the room and would not give me any milk for tea in the morning. On the positives, the bathroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
