Very worn. Cigarette smell was overwhelming. Plumbing in bathroom shower was loose from the wall. Bed was awful. Woke up with sore shoulders and hips. Could feel mattress springs all night. Not enough outlets for electronic devices. TV was inside this home built case which covered the infrared eye so the remote had to be held high to see it.

Every room at the facility was labeled nonsmoking, but the room smelled horrible or cigarette smoke. We opened the window, went to the store and bought air fresheners, did what we could. We got headaches, our clothing and luggage smell horrible. There were old towels in the bathroom left from a previous guest and the linens s d towels did not smell fresh.

Overall the property is great they're nice understanding no problem with late check-in little bit noisy on the outside it's closer to traffic but overall a great place to stay

Nothing it was crawling with bugs walls where covered in duck tape. My grandson has bites all over his body. I have pictures of the room abdcbites on my grandson i want a refund in full

We reserved a room without seeing the building first...big mistake! This place should be condemned. No kidding...we were completely disappointed, and almost just left after being there for 15 minutes. If it hadn't been late in the afternoon, we would have. I've never left a real negative review for a hotel...this is my first. It feels odd, but totally accurate for this place. Avoid it!

Stayed in room 116, woke up with dozens of bedbug bites. Sister required Urgent Care the day after for infections of her bites. Desk staff was really nice but the bedbugs were traumatic.

Street noise, people in room above us carried on until 1:30 AM and the heater in our room sounded like a street sweeper. I finally shut it off so we could get some sleep.

Staff was nice and the property was cute, could tell that the whole place was newly painted and furniture looked new. Lots of space in the room. The Blue Heron cheese farm was right next door and we just walked over! Would stay again.

Perfect if you just need a simple place to crash. Friendly staff and clean. Coffee, micro and fridge in rooms. Just a dated facility. No pictures on the walls etc. Hardwood floors. Firm bed. Anyhow, just a place to crash.

Checkin not until 4 pm. Wooden stairs to lower level were dirty, wet, and in poor repair. Room was large but light by bed only controlled by switch by door (tied to another light).

The hotel was convenient and area is kept clean. Room was recently remodeled. The only thing I would recommend is changing out the fridge. Made a rather unusual set of noises thru-out the night

Best motel in Tillamook
Old-school motel, wooden stairs, nice large rooms. Gift shop! If you want a pool, this is not the place. Conveniently located next to Blue Heron French Cheese.

Won't be back - surly staff, sketch neighborhood, mystery 'stains' on the bedding, and lighting that is so bright it will give you an instant migraine. Absolutely nothing to recommend here except putting it in the rear view.

Easy check in and out. Comfortable. Friendly staff. My only complaint is the carpet. When i walked around barefooted the bottom of my clean feet got very black.

Bedsheet were dirty and not up to the generic standard. there were some stains on the comforter, and holes in the bed skirts. Carpet was so dusty and moist that if you move bare feet you would find stains in your feet. Receptionist was not very polite. it looks like very abandoned. overall we didn't find it worth of staying with family. probalby as bachelor and to save the cost it might be an option but , I won't recommend to the family.

I have stayed at Western Royal 5 times now, twice for a 5 day stay. I am working in Tillamook so the location is very convenient. I like that it seems to be a working persons hotel. There are always some type of construction workers staying there. I find the rooms to be clean and well maintained. Lois is absolutely great in the check in process.

Adam the manager was polite, the mattress was very bad, I moved a night stand between the beds looking for a close outlet and it was very clear it hadn't been cleaned behind for years!. The ice machine worked and with several other higher priced rooms, it was tolerable in a pinch. It needs a lot of updating.
