"There were many many trails to hike and bikes to Rent so we could ride into town... the bikes we rented were in really good shape and fit us perfectly with a few adjustments and we could ride to the castle and all around town and then many places to park the bikes and we had locks which was really good. We could also explore pass along the water which was beautiful and it just happened that the weather was very, very good. The people that worked at the reception were super nice and super...

"The hotel is in a perfect location on the quayside in the harbour, a few minutes' walk from the train/bus station and just across the road from the city wall and centre. Kalmar Castle is about 20 minutes' walk away. On arrival we were given a very friendly and warm welcome at the reception. Breakfast, afternoon fika (Swedish coffee + cake) and buffet dinner are all included for all guests. Our room was charmingly located in the eaves of the hotel, with wooden ceiling beams and lots of character. Overall this hotel must be one of the most convenient and recommendable in Kalmar."
