No name outside or anywhere. It took me two hours in the rain and dark, with my big suitcase, to find it and none of the local people or my taxi driver had heard of it. Only when a local Albanian girl phoned the owner was she guided, and I followed her, down a dark hidden alley to a room on the ground floor, with 4 unmade bunk beds, no concealing curtains and a pile of what looked like used sheets on a couch. It was now very late. I felt unsafe so left to book in to a nearby hotel.

The place is well situated in the city centre and the welcoming from the host was very good. There are a lot of interesting artworks and the place is clean. It was difficult to find (had to call the host), there is no private parking available and public parking around the place is very busy, the best solution we found was to use a paid underground parking not very far. Unfortunately we did not get the room we booked for, without notice. It was not such a big deal, the single beds were suitable. However the room is not very well isolated from noise and air flow so it was cold in the night and noisy with people getting around. The bathroom is shared with the other rooms, there is very little space around the sink and water flow wasn’t sufficient at shower/toilet/sink for proper use. The breakfast was quite basic. We did not have much opportunities to talk to the host. Overall I would say the price was rather in line with this experience. Also I find the pictures on the website way too optimistic and kind of out of date.

Fuja desse lugar

Hostel péssimo, tem aspecto de abandonado, na sua fachada não há nenhuma identificação o que dificulta encontrar o estabelecimento, por dentro é bem simples e pouco confortável, o wifi não funciona bem e o banheiro é muito velho. Na minha estadia teve overbooking e eu tive que ser ir pra outro hostel horas após chegar. Uma dica, fuja desse lugar.

We were really impressed by how accommodating our hosts were - they were able to produce toothpaste at very short notice. Breakfast was incredibly impressive; felt more like a three course meal. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Totally felt like home ,beautiful artworks as decor really artistic in all details ! my room was very clean and comfortable !Hosts were great people and easy to orientate in lot of places in Tirana ,quiet by night even if the was in the center ,I would love to stay there again !

Wonderful hospitality by the hosts ,location was at the center of the city and very easy by foot to anywhere in Tirana ,very clean place and the breakfast really delicious !Artistic interior beautifuly made.I recomand Alegoria and i would love to come back again there!

The atmosphere was very artistic sorrounded by artwork ,very careful in detail.the hosts are very helpful and easy to talk to.It is a huge space but a quiet one by night.Clean and comfortable bed.I would defenitly stay there again !
