"Chose to pay extra and reserved one of the apartment suites of the hotel, located a short walk up the street from the main part of the hotel. Our ground floor, front facing unit was modern and well appointed. It is situated, unfortunately, on a very busy street, next to a noisy pub with live music. Made it Impossible to sleep before the early morning hours because of the music and pub patrons that mill about in front of it, literally a few feet from the bedroom window. Recommend choosing a room in hotel or somewhere else in Cork."
"The hotel itself is nice as was the breakfast and restaurant options. The area around the hotel is kind of off the main path of crowds so it’s a little quieter but still just a few minutes walk to most attractions and public transportation. The area around the building also seems a little sketchy with a lot of graffiti and empty alley ways but as a female solo traveler I had no issues. Just be alert of your surroundings."
"We stayed at the hotel for a family occasion. We tried to check in at 1:30pm, room wasn't ready, reception didn't ask if we wanted to leave luggage. When we got to our room the accommodation was basic and clean. The breakfast was good the next morning, staff could have friendlier and more attentive. We went to the Leisure Centre, the pool area is absolutely filthy, tiles hanging off the walls. The Jacuzzi was dirty and had a really bad smell off the water. The sauna and steam room need a full refurb
"
"Loved the hotel and the view. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was that at breakfast we were ignored several times. Brought meal out but no toast as ordered. Had to ask three times for toast and reply was will bring it out. Then we watched other tables receive meals and toast while we waited. Finally manager came by and we asked again. She immediately took care of it. Paid for breakfast with credit card. Then at check out it was on our bill. Manager, front desk, cleaning staff excellent. The young lady server that morning at breakfast ignored requests for toast yet served toast to tables around us. Manager once again was excellent "
"I stayed at the property for 2 nights. Check in process was excellent. Able to do most of it online and then just pick up keys via kiosk when I arrived. The room was not as expected, partially due to an error on my end during booking, but Victor at the front desk was able to assist me with the room setup and amenties in a timely manner. He was helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. He also provided some suggestions for dinner which we took and thoroughly enjoyed. The room itself had a small issue with the sink draining slow.
We had the buffet breakfast on our second day and the maitre de was pleasant and we felt attended to. Overall experience was good."
"I liked the central location, it was close to alot of things in Cork. What I didn't like was that the walls are paper thin and the bed was hard as a stone."
