"Awesome location, directly across the street from the beach. No AC in main part of house. AC ran great in all bedrooms. Hot tub was not operational, and there was not toilet seat on one of the toilets. Manager said owner was shipping one from US, but never arrived. No daily housekeeping, refrigerator did not get or stay cold. And taxis we arranged for pick up to leave, never arrived. We were allotted one towel per person, and had to ask to get them changed out. For girls that use towels...

An added perk we didn’t even realize until arriving was that this house is associated with the Awa hotel brand and you get all the perks of the hotel that is within a 5 minute walk. "¡Una experiencia maravillosa! Si buscan un hotel 100% familiar, este es el lugar indicado. El ambiente es súper seguro y tranquilo, perfecto para disfrutar con los niños sin preocupaciones. La playa que está justo frente al beach club es simplemente hermosa. Nos encantó empezar los días con su desayuno continental que es súper completo, y después aprovechar la renta de bicis para pasear. Para cerrar con broche de oro, el spa es un servicio que vale muchísimo la pena para relajarse. ¡Definitivamente volveremos!"

"Hotel was amazing if you’re looking for a vacation away from the world. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Island is very secluded. The restaurants right outside the hotel were delectable. Staff and locals were very nice. Not much attractions around besides the beautiful beach. Only issues that occurred during my stay: Day 1, lights went out but they were able to get them back on with 20 minutes. The next day, there was no hot water to shower to I embraced the cold water that night which was not as bad since the weather is very hot. I recommend regardless. Also I HIGHLY advise buying some mosquito gel at the corner store because they’re crazy during the night."

"Tuve una excelente estancia en LunArena El Cuyo. Desde mi llegada Ricardo y todo el personal fueron muy atentos y serviciales. El día que llegué hubo un corte de energía, pero Ricardo se encargó de organizar inmediatamente alojamiento en su hotel hermano para que mi llegada no se viera afectada. Inicialmente había planeado quedarme solo una noche como una escapada del ruido de la ciudad, pero la tranquilidad del lugar y la amabilidad del equipo me hicieron quedarme una noche más. Muchas gracias a Ricardo y al equipo por su atención durante toda la estancia."

"It was a great place to stay overall. I thought it odd that they dictated have no outside food or drink on the premises. Their reason is because they have a restaurant and white linen. Well, I stay at many hotels with the same and never had to sign a document saying I wouldn’t bring anything into the room. Oh well, I’ll find somewhere else next time. "
