"Very clean unit and our dishes were washed after our first night. (We had had a very early start that day and didnโ€™t expect it!) Just a comment the soaps in the shower are hard to work when you have your glasses off and didnโ€™t see the โ€œpress hereโ€ message written on them!"

"The place was busy due to the ski season and many seasonal workers stayed there, so night time could be quite noisy. There is also a kitchen on site offering simple buffet breakfast at a cheap price and other dining options for lunch/dinner. The staff members were very friendly and helpful; there were complimentary coffee and tea at the common area 24/7, a TV and a large lounge to chill at. The kitchen was quite packed but they have air fryers which could be very useful. The room we stayed in is central-heated. Close to National Park and Whakapapa, this place is good for a short stay."

"Room looked like it had been recently renovated. Everything was clean and tidy and it was very nice having an adjustable wall heater in the room. Person who showed me around was very friendly and helped answer my questions about the snow fields. The room is not very soundproof so could hear people coming and going to kitchen until quite late into the evening. Also the shared toilet ran out of toiletpaper and there was no one to easily ask for replacement. Overall good place to stay for one night to get up to the ski fields."
