"Plantation Island was a dream to stay at with our small family and our friend's families. Our beachfront motel room was spacious and comfortable and while a top story room may seem better, having the bottom story room made it easy for our preschooler to pop out and find our friends close by as well as be easily supervised with a wide space to play in. The playgrounds and pools were also appreciated and well used by our family.
Staff were amazingly hospitable and we adored the easy and complimentary access to kayaks and wide range of food options, although definitely expect to pay resort prices. Lots of fun events and activities on and appreciated all the efforts of Kids Club staff.
Curry night at Copra is a highly recommended highlight.
Vinaka vakalevu!"
"We had wonderful stay - so peaceful and relaxing. A bit windy when we stayed there, but house reef is protected and can be explored regardless. People who run it are very welcoming, warm and trying to please you. We felt like a part of family and would like to come back"
"Our family (with two boys, ages 9 and 13) had an amazing stay at Nakelo Treasure Island Resort. The location is absolutely idyllic, with crystal-clear water, abundant marine life, and a relaxed atmosphere that made it feel like paradise.
There were plenty of activities to keep our boys entertained, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special mention goes to Henry, who runs many of the kids' activities. He was fantastic! One of our boys' favorite experiences was going crab hunting on the beach after dark to collect food for the turtles in the Hawksbill Turtle Conservation Program. It was both fun and educational.
One unexpected bonus was that a continental breakfast was included with our Expedia booking, even though it was not advertised. There is a small surcharge if you want hot breakfast items, but we found the included options perfectly adequate.
We especially loved the Fijian Night on Wednesday, which gave us a wonderful opportunity to experience the local culture. Another highlight was the complimentary 10:00 a.m. boat trip to the nearby reef each morning for snorkeling and fish feeding. This excursion was simply magical-the reef is teeming with colorful fish, and the beauty of the underwater world is unforgettable.
One of the things we appreciated most was that the resort is Fijian-owned. It gave the experience a genuine local feel, and you could sense the pride and warmth of the people who work there. We left with wonderful memories"
"Very nice property, kind and helpful staff. The food was tasty. Unfortunately, there was a sewage smell in the area around villa 125 throughout our stay."
"Great place for a family, friends, and couples. The staff was super friendly and knew your names. It was extremely relaxing and had an activity a day to keep you occupied. I highly recommend the beach Burre it was hidden away and so relaxing."
"Musket Cove offers something for everyone, with a large property, well appointed amenities, excellent dining options & very good service & staff. Lithey is our favorite hostess at the main restaurant-always smiling, attentive and caring. The Resort has an interesting casual mix of yachties and resort guests across the friendly grounds. The Island Bar is a fun option to explore.
We went on a snorkeling/island hop excursion, as well as Cloud 9 afternoon trip. In mornings we did our own power walks around the island and standup paddle board sessions across the lagoons. The Makare spa session with massages was very peaceful and good treatments.
Stayed in the beach front bures, last year stayed in the lagoon villas. Both are great choices."
"This is a very quiet and peaceful property, a refreshing change from the larger, busier resorts. With no phones or televisions in the rooms, it truly feels like a tropical paradise where you can completely disconnect and relax. The beachfront rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer beautiful views.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The beach is fantastic—clean, serene, and rarely crowded. Most of the time, it feels like you have the entire beach to yourself.
The only area that could use some improvement is the food. While it is satisfactory, it doesn't quite match the high standard set by the accommodations, service, and overall atmosphere of the property. That said, the peaceful setting and outstanding hospitality make this a wonderful place to stay."
