Unhygienic, very low-ceiling bedroom
This is the worst accommodation my brother and I have ever experienced. Pillows had drool stains on them under the cover; blanket smelled sweaty; both of us went to the dermatologist to discover we had bed bug bites; and worst of all, we received no level of refund, even though I didn't stay the last few nights. I can send pics of our bites and of the soiled pillows as evidence if you wish. Bedroom is on the 2nd floor, which is visible from below, but with no headroom to stand upright (I'm 5'10") and railing was dangerously low (thigh-level) that someone who is tired or drunk is prone to fall over the rail onto the 1st floor. The steps that lead to this 2nd floor are at an extreme angle that going to and from the toilet on the 1st floor in the middle of the night can be dangerous as they are not proper steps but on bookshelves. The photos here are pretty, but these are the facts. I am a well traveled business executive in the hi-tech sector and I have no intent to express ill will -- I only wish to voice my caution so that others do not have to come home to an amateur accommodation that overlooks basic needs like hygiene and safety. Caveat emptor.
