"Clean and tidy room, with a convenient location to the city centre and train station"

"Room was clean ,excellent service, breakfast was delicious. I booked our room on October (5 months before travel)because I wanted a quiet room. We had our room on the busy street windows. We slept only 4-5 hours because was so noisy until 1 am and from 6 am started work a garbage trucks, cars .I was disappointed for this reason."

"Wonderful stay at Bologna Mercure. Location is very convenient, across the street from the train station for easy access and to drop off bags before heading to main sights in Piazza Maggiore, which is a 20 minute walk away. Room and bathroom are very spacious, and room amenities like slippers, bathrobe, free water and fridge refreshments, including a prosecco, tea/coffee maker are welcome touches. Breakfast is ok, best part of it for me was the juicer, to make fresh fruit/veggie drinks. It was a comfortable stay in a good location."

"Excellent staff that were helpful polite and friendly , very clean room which was cleaned daily to a high standard, good choice at breakfast which was fresh and tasty, comfortable bed. Only pillows a bit flat and hard . Fantastic stay . Hotel 15-20 mins walk from main squares and attractions."

"The room was clean, but noisy. The toilet didn't flush well, I had to press the button for 30 times to do a flush. I like to thank the front desk staffs who helped me to check in and check out, they were all polite and friendly. The room attendants were nice too. I appreciated that very much. The terrible experience was from the restaurant. On April 18 local time. When I walked in no one greeted me nor asked if I wanted any coffee. I observed when other guests came in, the staff greeted them and asked what kind of coffee they wanted. The local tour guides taught us to do things slowly so I was trying to do that, the breakfast was ok, I ate slowly and then tried to plan for my itinerary, I believed for a total of 1.5 hours or so, when I went for my last cup of tea and back to the table, they already cleaned the table, one of the staff, an older gentleman with grey hair and black frame eye glasses suddenly yelled and lashed out at me, "You are here for two hours, two hours" then he continued saying things in Italian and walked behind me to somewhere....he was probably scolding me in Italian. His coworker and even some guests could hear it, his rude behavior was totally unacceptable, the worst that I have ever encountered, what have I done to deserve that? If you are working in service sector, there is no room for prejudice, discrimination, nor rude manner toward any customers. Of course I did not go back to that restaurant anymore!! "
