"It was clean but had a funky old smell in the room we was in. I feel they need to update the inside of the rooms and facilities. The cleanliness was kept up well."
"Stopped in for a one night stay while passing through. The facility was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay there again if in the area and needed a place to stay."
"We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint boutique hotel. The location was perfect, and we especially appreciated the large amount of on-site parking, which made things very convenient.
We were aware that there is no traditional front desk at the property, but the check-in process was incredibly easy. There is a computer screen with an actual person available to talk you through the check-in and check-out process. The person assisting us was friendly, kind, and very helpful, so we had no issues at all.
The rooms are very comfortable and have a lot of charm. One of the unique touches we loved was the little notes left by previous guests in the bricks throughout the property—it gives the hotel a really personal and memorable feel.
One thing I missed when booking, however, was that the building is right beside the train tracks. There are several trains throughout the day and night, and they do blow their whistles at all hours. If you are a light sleeper, this is definitely something to be aware of when choosing this property.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and thought this was a charming, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel."
"Wonderful place to stay. Upon check in, I was greeted with such warmth and appreciation for staying there. Very clean and quiet. I would recommend staying here"
"Was in town for a dart tournament. Got to the hotel kinda late, but staff was amazing and very friendly. They said they were going to upgrade our room for us and put us in the main building because it had just been renovated. Room was beautiful. They did a great job redoing them. Beds were super comfy and shower was super hot. They have a pretty good breakfast set up also. Will definitely be back when we come into town for next year’s tournament."
