"We only spent one night at this location but we enjoyed our stay a great deal. Our cabin was only a short walk from Corrigans beach and was well equipped and, with one exception, well maintained. The exception being the hob which gave no indication as to the settings of its controls. These having been worn away. As soon as power is applied the hob may be on. This is simply unacceptable. Otherwise everything else about the site, the cabin and the staff would encourage us to stay there in the future. "

"Lovely view of the beach from room and step across the road for beach and reserve. Clean room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great dining option at Raymonds restaurant below the apartment block. "

"Old building but reasonably clean. Comfy bed. Lovely outlook from the cottage to the beach. Lovely food at the restaurant. Very small amount of basic provisions at the store e.g. milk & bread. No wifi in the 5 days there. TV coverage hit & miss, if you get ABC you cannot get commercial stations or get commercial & no ABC. Microwave provided but set too low for older people to access and no microwave cooking equipment provided. Only one small bowl provided for food prep, not even big enough to make a salad. Shower too small & odd shape which can cause injury when moving arms in the shower & too easy to accidently increase the temperature which can cause scolding or turn the water off. No shelves on the door of the fridge & no crisper - lack of space for storing cold foods especially drink bottles & milk. No instructions for Aircon or TV."

"We stayed 5 nights. Great window view from our Deluxe "sea view" room. The bathroom had the shower over the bath, which is not ideal for use and no non-slip mat was provided. Bathroom decor had been "handyman updated" some time ago and was a bit tired. There was no exhaust fan. Although this property is a "Hotel", the bar and bistro have been closed for about a year. The property is very centrally located, with a large licensed Club and shops within a 2 block radius. The room had no cutlery, crockery or microwave so we had to "go out" for all meals. Our room was clean and very habitable."

"This is a wonderful motel where we have now stayed maybe 6 times. The extra bonus now is the fabulous Thai restaurant on the premises. It is only BYO now. "
