A truly lovely receptionist… clean room and interesting neighbourhood. Near a township but I felt safe and other local tenants were nice and friendly. Great eat out and takeaway food at two nearby locations. I would stay here again … the shower had awesome pressure

Property didn’t live up to expectations. Was not serviced daily and wasn’t clean enough. Had to chase up towels and as the people running it didn’t speak English (2 of them) 1 did hard to communicate. We finally got towels. Also was not neat outside lots of rubbish. Would not stay there again.

The rooms were clean and large. The rates were quite reasonable. Easy walking distance from hotel and meals. The air conditioner was old and noisy. Check in left a lot to be desired. Manager wasn't there and those "in charge" couldn't speak English. They were pleasant but didn't have a clue. They had to contact manager and phone passed to me. Not great service.

When we arrived at 3.30 pm the room was not ready told to go away and come back in 2hrs we did, came back at 4.30 the room still was not ready got into our room at 5.30 pm, when we got in the room was clean and serviceable bathroom door would only open halfway and trying to pay was a joke as they could not speak English and had to ring their boss 3hrs away it took time.

Cockroaches. Bed bugs. Sticky greasy benches and floors, grimy mirrors, broken curtains, extra mattress leaning on a wall. Old loud airconditioner that you cannot leave on if you want to sleep. No English speaking people to ask questions. Photos on this site are old and outdated and do not represent the current state of the property. Premium bedding is a joke as it's threadbare and faded.

Extremely poor customer service. Checked in at5pm no one was in reception had to go and find a cleaning lady who rang a phone and then handed over to me to check in. Inspected the room before paying and the beds were not made. Put us in another room. A person came to take our payment and was only dressed in shorts. Bear chested. No one on site spoke English well and was difficult to understand. Property extremely run down.

Man at the reception just wearing the shorts, with no top. Terrible. First impression was just bad Can’t understand or speak English Overall worst ever experience till date A Chinese lady sitting remotely, operating and instructing this Chinese guy over the phone, and he can’t speak English properly, disappointing. No microwave in the room and common kitchen area is disappointing too. If you are after comfortable stay, this shouldn’t be your choice unless owner upgrade the motel to the right level with minimum facility and hire the English speaking staff

Unfortunately this property is nothing like what is seen on Wotif. Check in is difficult with no staff speaking English on arrival, a man calls someone offsite to speak to you. On arrival to my room - the aircon was falling off the wall, there was mould and rust throughout the shower accompanied by cockroaches. The tv had no remote and when it was able to be turned on, it did not work. Going to hang clothes in the cupboard, we found men’s clothes hanging in there - looking like someone had moved out for us to stay. The property was filthy and the outside grounds were littered cigarette butts. Overall we were incredibly upset with our stay and felt it was more 1 star Standard and should not be available for bookings.

The room was clean and comfortable with almost everything needed - but no microwave and no knife. A/C was good even on days when the temperature hit 41. Fridge worked too well as it froze everything on the top shelf. But in 4 days the room was never cleaned and I never found anyone at reception who could communicate in English. When I asked for the wifi password the Chinese speaking guy dialled a number and handed me his phone where I spoke to a woman who said she'd send it to me. I didn't get it. I'm guessing it's new management who haven't got their act together yet.

When we returned to our room on day 2 we found the door lock jammed with an incorrectly inserted key. We tried and tried (and other residents also tried) to remove the key without success. There were no staff on the premises to help. Fortunately a couple of carpenters also staying that night were able to remove the handle from the door and allow us to enter our room. When one staff member did return several hours later he was totally uninterested in our problem so we were left with a door without a lock for our last night. It should also be noted that none of the staff we saw were able to speak English!
