My wife had been at Toowoomba Hospital for tests during the late afternoon and around 8.40 pm she was advised she would have to have an overnight stay to be monitored and I was required to find accommodation at short notice..After a quick search I chanced upon the City Motor Inn and after booking online I made my way to the Motel a short drive from the Hospital.When I arrived the Motel was obviously closed for the night so I rang the number whilst parked outside the Motel and a very friendly gentleman answered promptly and advised me he would meet me at the front reception door..Without much fuss I registered and was given a key and directions to the car park..And settled in to a very comfortable clean and quiet room.I have nothing but praise for the Manager and his genuine concern and willingness to help a person in need of a room late at night.The motel gets my tick of approval on a number of fronts..

Very poor attitude of the manager towards their customers. Tell me that I have to park nose in and not revers in. This is a type of parking in not child friendly, move with the times as reverse parking is the preferred option. Saying that I could not put the last 10 litres of Diesel that I had in my car because he said he didn’t want me to soil it on his driveway. I drove 400kms and I don’t think 10 litres would have over full the car. I found this funny considering there was engine oil on the ground that has been left there by other cars that had not been clean up. I felt very uncomfortable at this motel. Would not recommend this motel and I will not stay here ever again. 0 stars.
