"We wanted a hotel in walking distance of the train station and this hotel fit the bill. We’d read good reviews about it and found them to be accurate. Great, quick check in, perfect room with a balcony on the second floor. Clean, spacious, with an A/C that worked perfectly when needed. Big shower, lots of hot water and pressure. "Royal Paestum Hotel is a nice classy resort. Everything is there to please you. A must see. A grest wedding place. Original lobby, beautiful gardens, nice pool. Room was nice and confortable. "We had a wonderful stay here! The boutique hotel had spacious rooms and was situated on lovely grounds. A quick walk took us to the Paestum Archeological Site, and when we returned we enjoyed some gelato, sorbets and wine served in their garden. Dining at the restaurant attached to the hotel (Casa Coloni) was fantastic. We got their fish menu, and it was one of the best meals we’ve had to date on our excursions across Italy. "We only stayed one night and checked in the afternoon but it did not look like the photo. Lift was tiny and very old. Breakfast was fine. I would suggest eating out for lunch and dinner as it was €25 for dinner and we discovered it to be much cheaper out. The local supermarket makes sandwiches that were divine and cheap."
