"Be aware that the hotel reception close down at 19:00 and if you haven’t checked-in by then you have to find another place to stay. I travel a lot but rarely see this rigid routine. Normally there is an option to collect your key in a coded box or something after the reception is closed. But okay, fair enough, it’s my mistake to not follow these rules.
But no card payment in 2025?! That’s a big drawback which easily can be fixed. You leave it to your guests to spend 30 minutes to find an ATM...

"Das Gebäude allein ist schon imposant. Man vermutet diesen Baustiel in dieser Gegend absolut nicht. Der Name prägt das Gebäude. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück ist nicht überschwänglich, dennoch ausreichend. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, leider ist die Rezeption nicht 24 Stunden besetzt.
Alles in Allem, eine sehr gute Adresse."

"When we arrived the hotel was closed. it seeems to be in very deep works for a renovation. No bell ringing at the entrance door. We had to phone. A little bit complicated for foreign people. Happily , Neighbours have help us in our phone call.
When we were inside all was satisfying. Just a bit of angst when you arrive, and that nothing seems to work as you aspected."
