No real complaints. It was very clean and quite convenient. The shared bathroom was no problem as it’s not overcrowded and I never ran into anybody else. The only thing is that the outside seems to be under construction and there are a couple of loose bricks on the way down the pathway to the entrance of this place so watch your step. But that was at the time of this review. I’m sure it’ll be finished up in the near future.

It was a nice and quiet stay, and was peaceful. I think my only suggestion would be for there to maybe be a fan in the room for when it gets warm and for the bathroom to have some newer cleaner shower mats put in. Also have more towels stocked for guests and maybe some bottled water already in the rooms for them.

Though somewhat far from Toronto, the location is pleasant, as it is near several amenities and a lovely little nature preserve. It has all the basic amenities and the service was very responsive and friendly. Given the prices closer to the city, this was a fantastic deal!

Very simple room in a basement shared kitchen with other rooms. Very private and no real parking. Good for short visit. No real activities near by had to drive 49 minutes to Toronto

It wasn’t clear that this was a shared room when I initially booked. We were woken up by another guest in the very early morning hours banging around the kitchen. There were no hand towels or washcloths for personal use and the temperature was very cold durning our November stay. I would not recommend staying here

Great place to stay a few days.

Had a great stay, was traveling solo out of the U.S. for the first time and needed a clean and safe place to stay on a budget. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The area around the house is very nice and upscale with lots of places to eat and shop. The hosts were accommodating and quick to respond to any concerns I had. I asked about adjusting the temperature of the room and they quickly responded and accommodated my request. My only complaint with the room situation is there was only one bathroom/shower for all 4 rooms. I didn’t have any problems getting into the shower when I needed to but I can imagine when all 4 rooms are full it could be a competition to get in there in the mornings. This is only a small complaint though, otherwise my stay was fantastic!

This room is affectively a basement conversion to several rooms that are being rented out… Met the needs, and although technically, this was above ground, the 5 inch window in the room made it clear that this was definitely a basement bedroom. That said, you could not access the window, which was frosted, and there were no curtains… So the room was never truly dark, and we were awakened with the sun. Also, the very bright bathroom light switch was outside of the bathroom, so when my husband got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, turning on the bathroom, light resulted in full light in the room…A minor inconvenience, but notable. The exterior of the house was quite lovely, and there was a full kitchen… Although the refrigerator in the kitchen is shared, and each room has a space in the refrigerator dedicated to it… Unfortunately, one of the other guests had already made use of the space that was labeled as ours. Luckily, we didn’t have much to store.
