"We recently had a 1 night stay and absolutely loved it. Very clean property. Great selection in the casino and very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't go during live horse racing but I can imagine it would be a great time. If I could add one thing, it would be that the "food court" area could use some attention but with a couple great restaurants on site as well, we didn't go hungry. Would recommend this property!"

"Staff were knowledgeable, efficient and welcoming. Hotel Restaurant staff were very welcoming and hospitality was very considerate and happy. Cocktails and food were wonderful quality. It was late when we arrived at check in and were really hungry... Gochujang Wings and Mussels in a white wine butter sauce were very delicious and appreciated so late in the evening. Plus a dessert for my birthday that day at 11:30pm was not necessary for the staff, but so appreciated as I was tired. Hotel rooms were quiet and peaceful. Beds, pillows, bedding was very comfortable and cozy. House keeping was excellent, very impressed with topping up tissues, towels, water, tea and making the bed during our 5 night stay. Pool was lovely and clean. Location was quiet, but Central and walking distance to aloy of sights. 26min walk to Rogers & Scotia Stadium. 40min walk to Kensington Village. Across the street at Elm Street Italian Deli.... submarine sandwiches were Excellent! Also Unholy donuts are wonderful. I would definitely stay again."

"Rooms were old and rundown. Shower had no place to put toiletries. Zero counterspace at the sink. Double beds in the room for 4 were tiny! Not enough room for even 2 kids to sleep comfortably in the bed. No complimentary anything in the room, not even water?? Will not return and would not recommend."

"I had a great stay at Union Hotel. My room was immaculately clean when I arrived and staff was polite and ready to help out however they could from the moment I stepped into the hotel to the moment I left. Checking in and out was simple, and the hotel is in a good location, close by to plenty of venues, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance if you don't want to brave the downtown Toronto traffic. Parking is paid in a shared nearby garage and is a bit pricey, but not as bad as some of the other options in the area and still worth it for the convenience of location. Doors also get locked after a certain time of night for added security, requiring use of a bell and intercom or your room card to gain entry. An added bonus if security at night is something you're concerned about. I would definitely look into staying here again the next time I visit Toronto."

"Newer property, the room was clean and in good condition. TV was easy to use and cast my phone to. The bathroom was really nice, the double sink was appreciated and a good stand up shower . Staff was friendly at check in. Breakfast was tasty and had a wide variety of choices including fruit and meats. Walkable from union station and lots of stuff in the area to see. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future."
