The unit was spacious, well laid out, and in an excellent downtown location within walking distance to Union Station, restaurants, the waterfront, and major attractions. The balcony and views were a nice bonus, and the beds were comfortable.
The biggest issue was communication and check-in. Instructions were supposed to arrive 72 hours before check-in and did not. Arriving alone downtown at night, it was very stressful trying to locate the building and understand the entry process. The “Key Cafe” pickup location is just strange white boxes on a wall. Staff (not on location) were polite however, not building staff. They couldn’t properly assist with parking or access issues.
The building is extremely busy - Elevator wait times were often 5+ minutes, and getting between the parking garage (P2) and the unit could take 15–20 minutes.
The unit would benefit from clearer written instructions. There was no information explaining the master light switch, appliances, garbage disposal process, or building amenities. Guests are expected to clean the unit and dispose of garbage independently, but there were no directions for locating on the floor, or using the operation.
The unit was generally clean, but there were maintenance concerns. The ensuite sink only had hot water, the pullout couch was dirty and unusable, the air conditioning struggled to cool below 22°C, and there was no in-suite laundry despite the listing.
