The bedside tables and lamps were dusty. Corner of microwave door broken which did not instill confidence to use it. Site show pool on site, which was dirty and unkempt - definitely wouldn't swim in it. For $210 per night, I would expect far better.

Office wasn't open 830am to 09:30pm as stated here..it was open 1:30pm to 09:30 pm..our check in time is 1pm..so when we get there, no one at the office, we have to call several times to get to them and have to call wotif help centre, coz apparently the check in time is 2pm, when its clearly stated 1pm on our booking at wotif..

Located right across the beach was beautiful, having our own car park was a bonus as well not worrying about what time we returned to the hotel. They were happy to allow us to check in late by leaving the key under the mat which was we were so grateful due to us coming from 5 hours we didn't stress rushing to get their. :) 10 stars

Surf City Motel and Bombora Dining

Needed somewhere to stay overnight, that was near good dining, preferably with views. Surf City ticked all boxes. good rooms, quiet and only 2 doors away from Bombora eatery and bar. Meals were delicious both dinner and Breakfast enjoyed overlooking parkland and beach. Will definetly stay at Surf City and revisit Bombora again.

Happy stay.

It was comfortable, quiet and a great location. The amenities were ok but could have used bowls, plates cutlery etc. a toaster was provided and an electric jug. That’s all .the bed was comfortable, bathroom ok.
