"Very nice hotel in the center of Piacenza - clean and comfortable and upscale in feel. Lovely rooftop bar with views over the town. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only negatives were poor WiFi in the room and lack of insulation so noise from the street and neighbouring rooms was an issue. Otherwise hotel was an excellent choice for us."

"Loved this small hotel tucked into a hillside with gorgeous views. Dinner fantastic with attentive staff. Not a large menu. Just a few first and second course dishes prepared just for that night. At the chefโ€™s suggestion we shared plates of all of them. The pool has great views and drinks. The hilltown Fortunago is on the list of Italyโ€™s best preserved and carefully maintained. Town so tiny nothing to do but enjoy the perfection of place. No tourist shops in sight. A true get-away. Excellent breakfast included, another plus."

"Don't be put off by the external appearance - inside the hotel is well maintained, bright, clean and comfortable. The breakfast offer is limited but adequate and easy and the breakfast rooms a good size. Staff very helpful, and friendly. Well located near the train and bus stations (and with own car parking underneath for those who came by car like me) and a short and pleasant walk from the centre. Would recommend to anyone for a short stay in Pavia. Good value."

"Situated 15mins walk from city centre, 10 mins from train station. Clean rooms, bedding ok (extra pillows and blankets in wardrobe). Friendly staff although we didnโ€™t see them much. Kitchen facilities and common rooms (we didnโ€™t use). Would definitely recommend and use again. Only downside was cost of coffee from the vending machines, bit expensive."
