"Great location - walking distance to town centre for shops and restaurants and cafes - short drive to beach. Had a takeaway from the Thai restaurant - very good
Accommodation was very comfortable and hosts very friendly.
Breakfast was put out for us to help ourselves in the pottery shop each morning and was a good start to the day with fresh fruit and croissants.
Reliable WiFi we were able to watch Wimbledon with no problems.
All in all a delightful stay and would definitely stay again."

"We had a bit of a rude welcome but this was rectified the following day at breakfast.
A well placed property with a good breakfast.
The bathroom was a little tired and the beds were comfortable."

"The Hotel is very well placed in Lyndhurst at the top of the town. We had a snug double room which was at the back of the hotel, so no road noise which was good. The facilities were very good in the room, such as kettle, tea, coffee etc. There were a couple of issues, one being the bath plug was blocked so the shower waste water just stayed in the bath and drained very slowly. Also, being at the back of the hotel we were right above the staff smoking shelter and heard they staff there early in the morning smoking and chatting and also had the smell of smoke coming through the window at times and for a non smoker this is not very pleasant. The breakfast were good, plenty to choice from and well stocked. Overall the hotel is a lovely place, with a lovely back garden to sit and enjoy a drink and the staff were very polite and welcoming. Would stay there again but would request a different room. I would recommend this hotel."
"Great budget hotel for families. We used the pool a couple of times and enjoyed the breakfast one day. Lovely walk through the gardens along the river to the beach.
Decor is dated, but that probably keeps the price down."
"Room was abit outdated and could do with abit of tlc however the garden and sea view was amazing and the garden was very well maintained. could also of done with more pillows as there was only one per person that being said the hotel was very pleasant and we very much enjoyed our stay."
"One of The attendant, saved me and gave me a room for 5 people at no extra cost so I could stay together with my children as at the website was not available and I had to pay for 2 rooms.
The bedroom floor was very dirty, and it was very hot because there was no AC, but they do provide a fan. I had to clean the room myself because cleaning is done after 3 days of stay and since I have children, it's difficult to go more than a day without cleaning the room.
Breakfast buffet was ok. Cheap sausages...also the coffee made from the machine have an awful taste and seems to be made with instant coffee..I had to buy proper coffee from beans outside.
Overall good for the price."
