"The individual who checked us in was ignorant & rude. When I made the reservation it was for 2 rooms & they were supposed to be adjoining. When I checked in the rooms assigned were not adjoining and the person at the desk commented that they were booked solid months in advance by people who actually made plans. (When I booked there were about half a dozen king sized rooms still available.) I could overlook rude staff if the room had been fantastic but the shower door leaked & by the time I got out of the shower the bathroom was flooded. The breakfast was sub par and the coffee tasted like dirty water."

"Room was clean and bed comfy. Breakfast was great. Staff very helpful, especially with local information. We had our doubts at first becaause the property looks a little run-down, but we were pleasantly surprised and very happy we stayed here. We stayed 2 nights. Visited Fort Laramie, Oregon Ruts, Guernsey State Park etc. Dog friendly."

"This is a nice place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hot tub was delightful,but wish it was a tad warmer. Pretty standard breakfast. Eggs, sausage, and waffle maker. Also biscuits and gravy and some small pastries. Not the hotels fault really, but can someone make a big thing of scrambled eggs without the bottom being full of water. Happens at most buffets and ever hotel breakfast. We will be back when we are this way. "

"Wasn’t very clean, stuff on the floors with build up under beds when I dropped something and had to pick it up I unfortunately got to see that and some trash as well. Bathrooms in desperate need of repair from stains and small fixes done poorly. I am short and could barely reach the tp when using the bathroom from the way it was set up. "

"Spotless and cozy room that had a lot of free welcome snacks for me after a long trip. I slept like a baby in a comfortable bed, my check-in and check-out process went smooth! Highly recommend for anyone who is planning a stay in Wheatland"
