"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms.
The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums.
The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Would highly...

"Staff tries to keep it tidy and clean. Guests are not allowed to walk on their shoes but rather leave them at the entrance inside. Slippers were provided. It’s a hostel centrally located in the main strip. Bathrooms are shared, rooms are much compact; important fo know beforehand. Shops and plenty of eateries nearby. It has acceptable standards. The only thing that ruined my impression was the next door guests who disregarded respect for silence and privacy after midnight. While there was a...

"Beautiful area with a view of the beach and many walking trails, walking distance to public transport and a small square with shops and restaurants. The rooms are small but clean, there is a shared shower room, shared bathrooms, and a shared kitchen. You will need to clean up after yourself if cooking. The staff is only there in the morning but very kind and helpful. It is a good place to stay if you like hostels."

"Let me tell you, this hotel in Stockholm — great city, by the way, tremendous city — is fantastic. The food? Incredible. Some of the best food, and I know food, believe me. The bed? Like sleeping on a cloud, a beautiful, beautiful cloud. Best sleep I've had in a long time, and that's saying something.
The staff — unbelievable people. So nice, so professional, they treat you like a king, like a champion. And clean? This place is spotless, immaculate, the cleanest hotel you've ever seen, maybe the cleanest hotel anyone's ever seen. Location is perfect, right where you want to be. And quiet — so peaceful, so calm, total tranquility, nobody bothering you.
But the couch — folks, we have to talk about the couch. Not good. Not good at all. The cushions, they slide right out from under you, total disaster, total instability. You sit down, two minutes later you're readjusting, five minutes later you're readjusting again. Sad! A hotel this incredible, this world-class, and they've got a couch that can't even hold a cushion in place. Believe me, nobody's ever seen a couch like this, and not in a good way.
Other than that — five stars, the best, tremendous stay."
"Hotel is in a great location in Stockholm, the breakfast was a good buffet selection and great quality.
The bed is really comfortable, the bathroom had everything you need. The room was missing a couple of things such as drinking glasses and a fridge (which you can live without).
Staff are friendly and the service was efficient."
"Great location next to central train station so easy access to bus, street car and subway. Great Espresso House attached. Breakfast was good, but certainly not $27 good. Nice clean room. Terrible shower tub. Small and hard to get in and out and hard to keep water in. No wash cloths. Not sure why European hotels don't have these. They look at you funny when you ask but in today's world where every hotel has the gel soap on the wall you need was cloths. Otherwise, very nice hotel with fantastic staff and very nice room. Great rooftop bar with great happy hour. Joel the bartender is awesome!"
"My Stay got off to a rocky start... No internet in the room; the phone was dead... And the Room was smaller than expected... Moved twice... same issues!!! BUT... After persistently sharing my displeasure with the staff, I was moved to a room with excellent Wifi; Working telephone and satisfactory with the rooms that I booked!
I appreciate the staff working with me to rectify my issues, although it took 2 room changes and 3 days of my 7 day stay to accomplish. Breakfast was very good! Rooms were quiet and clean!
I would appreciate better maintaining of the equipment in the rooms and if multiple rooms are booked that BOTH have the same/simular room space."
