"Made me check in at a different hotel which required two elevators and a long trek. Desk lamp switch didn't work. Thermostat didn't work. Shower drain was loose. Alarm clock had the wrong time. "

"The check-in line was incredibly long, and the wait was exhausting. I don’t see the point of offering online check-in if we still have to go through such a tedious process upon arrival. Furthermore, the pool area was a mess—there were absolutely no seats available, and the water was visibly dirty. It was a very disappointing experience."

"The room was a bit run down. A couple of the towels had stains on them, the nightstand lights weren’t working. When I requested housekeeping at a later time, it wasn’t available. To wrap it all up, there was criminal activity back-to-back times in the first two nights, which made it feel unsafe. Not to mention, accounts of this hotel being a site infidelity cases. Overall, a below average experience to which I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who plans to visit Austin."

"Everything was perfect, got greeted by nick who was the best! He gave us tips about the city and everything, and the hotel was super nice! When I'm back in Austin, I'm sure I'll book a room at the same hotel again!"

"Great location overlooking Rainey St. The property was new and clean and the staff were friendly. Super close to the river/lake and amazing bars and restaurants. The only issue I had was the sliding barn doors on the room bathrooms. Why is it this way? It's not private."

"I had a great stay at Aloft Downtown Austin. Maria at check-in was fantastic—friendly, efficient, and made the whole arrival process smooth and welcoming. The hotel has a nice bar with a great atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The rooms were comfortable and well-kept, and the location couldn’t be better—right in the center of everything downtown. I’d definitely stay here again."

"We traveled with our two teen daughters and two small dogs. The view from our room, "Suite, 1 Bedroom, Corner" was very large, clean and comfortable. the view was wonderful. The room was in fair condition. some of the windows were either very dirty on the outside or had a broken seal that caused condensation to get between the pains. We booked a Studio Suite: 2 Queens for our girls. Their view was of a wall a few feet from their window. The breakfast was just okay but on the poor end of the range of average for this level of hotel. Staff was very nice. "
