"The layout was awesome. You walk in, powder room. Go up a few steps kitchen on left, dining room on right, go through to the living room and sliding door to the deck. Vaulted ceilings with fans. Go up one level to big tub and laundry with bedroom and full bathroom. Go up another level to a double bed with a full bathroom. Double louvered doirs to vaulted dining room. Then up one more level to 2 single beds. Huge space. With drop down bed in living room, could easily sleep 8-10."
"The outside of the hotel was a bit unappealing and dated but the room and service were outstanding. The room was clean, well cared for, and excellent value. I definitely will stay there again when in town visiting family."
"This was an adorable B&B, with friendly and welcoming owners, well decorated rooms and common areas, and a delicious breakfast cooked to order. And so convenient to downtown!"
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Havelock, NC. From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Their outstanding customer service really made the stay enjoyable.
The hotel itself was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The lobby, hallways, and my room were spotless, which is something I always appreciate when traveling. My room was also nice and cool, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep after a long day.
One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. There was a great selection of hot and cold items, everything was fresh, and the breakfast area was kept clean and well stocked throughout the morning.
Overall, this is an excellent place to stay if you’re visiting the Havelock area. Clean rooms, comfortable accommodations, a delicious breakfast, and an amazing staff make this hotel an easy five-star recommendation. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town"
"Beautiful clean rooms and lobby. Well positioned on the river / riverwalk with excellent views of the boats and July 4th fireworks steps away. Very nicely decorated room and bath (above average for sure). Comfortable beds and quiet. We did not take advantage of the restaurant on site.
For families, I'd say it's not the greatest; no pool in the middle of summer in NC is a big downside. There's note really a lot of room in the lobby or common areas to hang out.
If you want a very well appointed room that's quite without standard vacationers (didn't see a lot of families or little kids, maybe because of the higher standard room rate), this is the place to go."
