"This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. The three bedrooms all have double beds. We did have an issue but the owner was very proactive and sorted it without fuss. Often you don’t know how well...

"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"The hotel is well situated on the main road in Long Rock with parking. It was a good price with breakfast.There's a bus stop nearby for buses to Penzance, St Ives, Truro etc. The hotel has a bar for residents and locals. The room was basic but clean with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee supplies, a small wall mounted TV and a sink. The staff were friendly and helpful. I booked through Hotels.com and it wasn't obvious that the bathrooms are shared, in fact there's no mention of it. I did book a 'basic twin room' and I expected an en suite, although for the price I paid, maybe that was a stretch. The downside of being on the main is a lot of traffic noise. The wifi wouldn't connect in the room but it did downstairs in the bar."

"Don't know where to start... I booked a standard double room, based on the pictures I saw online. They should have to tell you there isn't enough room to have a full size suitcase and 2 adults in this room.the bed was so close to the wall it was hard to get in and out of bed. We had to rig a little corner shelf they had for tea and coffee to make our case fit. If you were just there for a night with a backpack fine, but we were traveling from the states for 2 weeks, so a big case was needed. The room itself was very clean, the bathroom was very roomy and bright. We did ask if there were other rooms available, unfortunately not for the first 2 nights, then we were able to move up to a king room. What a great room that was. The staff here was great. The breakfast was very good"
