"Not a fair view of this property, it had a boiler issue but the property manager was quick to offer another site with a view to the old matera. Although it was awkward to get to, it was within walking distance to the historical center, we walked everywhere, with a supermarket nearby"

"Great location in the heart of the community. Restaurants markets and stores in walking distance. Third bed was in middle of kitchen /living area. We were there during a music festival in the piazza, ended up with party goers sitting in doorway and smoking/ talking late into the night."

"The location is very close to the Sassi, which was my main objective. The parking garage was also very close and convenient. Our room was fine, small shower but to be expected in Italy! All good. Now, let me tell you about the sweet host, so helpful! He set up breakfast for us, baked fresh croissants with jams and nutella, made wonderful coffee and offered yogurt, juice, Matera bread ( the best!) we were a group of 6 filling all of his rooms for the night. Perfect stay for us!"

"Amazing helpful reception staff. The room was spectacular and very clean. Only lacking for us was breakfast and attentiveness to our table. Maybe a few more staff required for so many areas to cover. All in all though this was a very special property and we would love to again."
