"Great place for a quick stop. The interior was kind of retro and cool. The indoor pool was fun! There is an old lingering smoke smell in some areas, but not in our rooms which we appreciated. Would definitely stay here again if in the area for longer."

"We were so surprised. We drove past, were a little unsettled at the facade, went in and still unsure. There is some remodelling going on. During check in, we were put at ease. She was so helpful, engaging & friendly. Then she said, we need to go outside and go through the red door! WHAT? Really? As we were walking up, she told us the place was built in 1883,added a little history and that we had her favorite room and why, then showed us in. SO SURPRISED. What character!!!! the TALL ceilings, the fun little refrigerator, the MCM fixtures. We loved the red ceiling and ceiling fan. The only odd thing was if you turned off the light in the sink area, it turned off the fan. The best thing wasthe bed. That was the most comfortable bed we've slept on in many hotel visits. Pure comfort and the best sleep. Thank you so much. When we come through again, we will definietly stay here. "

"The staff were wonderful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately we stayed on a Tuesday when the restaurant was closed. The staff did recommend several places to go to with directions to each. Breakfast was wonderful for a continental breakfast. Well supplied with large variety of choices."
