"Easy to find. Easy parking. Clean & smells good. A/C cold. Mini fridge worked. Only suggestion: Faulty window blind (window above A/C faced beverage distributing facility with a large "loading dock Light") allowing a bright light to shine onto the bed. My 3rd stay. Not fancy, however will stay again. Thank you"

"Zach was super friendly! Room wasn't ready (at 5pm) but adjustments were made and we were moved around a bit before finding a rentable room. Very basic - no fridge or microwave. TV worked briefly. Coffee is not desirable ~ bring your own filters and coffee. Bedding and towels were clean but not so much for the floor, doors, amenities, and fixtures. Bring (cleaning) alcohol to wipe things down just to be sure. Only 2 outlets in the room - bring additional electrical units or extension cord(s). . Call resort directly to use AAA or AARP discount! Otherwise, it's an older hotel with aging features to be expected and YES ~ we would stay again!"

"The Weaverville hotel is a beautiful old hotel on the historic registry rebuilt in 1880. It is very clean and well situated on Main St. in downtown Weaverville with close proximity to great hikes and, Trinity Lake, and the Trinity River. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated in the style of the past with decor that consists of lovely old lamps, antiques, and furniture that belongs to another era. There is attention to detail with quality amenities like good coffee, shampoos and lotion. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated that the whole hotel seemed to be a labor of love by its owners. The only issues we had were with check in. It is a keyless facility so you are given a code to enter into keypads on all entry doors. The code we received didn’t work. Fortunately assistance is a phone call away and we were able to clear up the issue. But staff needs to make guests aware of how to enter the code. You must hit a little button with what looks like a house icon before you enter the numbers. We struggled a bit using the codes and while we always got in it was a bit annoying at times. There are no TVs, which was ok with us because we had our tablets and the WiFi is excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay. There is a common refrigerator, ice machine, and fresh water available in a common space. The AC units in the room were a bit noisy but tolerable. The showers are great. I would recommend this hotel but be aware it is not a modern building."
