Experience the rural flavour of Jersey in a peaceful parish known for its family attractions, scenic coastline and charming villages.

Relax in the scenic parish of Trinity on the northern coast of Jersey. The tranquil region is crisscrossed by woodland walks and features picturesque bays, as well as the island’s popular zoo. A variety of accommodation can be found in scenic locales, offering ocean views or vistas of pretty rolling farmland.

Bring your family to Jersey Zoo, one of the top family attractions on the island. Nature writer Gerald Durrell founded it as a conservation-centred attraction in the 1950s. Marvel at the colourful creatures, such as the pink flamingos and orange orangutans, that live in the expansive park.

Inspect vintage farming equipment in the Pallot Steam & Motor General Museum, which celebrates the history of agricultural machinery. The museum also contains a collection of immaculately restored vintage cars and operational steam trains.

Unwind in the peaceful gardens of the Eric Young Orchid Foundation. Elegant, delicate flowers bloom in a variety of colours. Pack a picnic to enjoy on the lawns. Many of the flowers are kept in glasshouses, making the foundation a year-round attraction.

Find out what events are taking place at the Royal Jersey Showground during your trip. The headquarters of the Royal Jersey Agricultural & Horticultural Society are used for fairs and exhibitions showcasing the best of local farming. The popular Weekender Festival also takes place here. Take a trip to Trinity in early September to attend this lively music festival, which attracts some of the biggest names in British music to its main stage.

Experience the wild beauty of Trinity’s scenic coastline. Bouley Bay is famed for its mythical black dog, said to roam the landscape at night. Visit by day to find a pleasant pebble beach with numerous accommodation and a dive centre.

Drive to Trinity in about 20 minutes from Jersey Airport and find accommodation in its quiet villages. The parish is beautiful throughout the year and can be visited in any season. Plan a trip in summer for warm weather or visit in spring to see colourful wildflowers blooming in the hills.
