"We had a fantastic stay at the Padmaa Haveli. It’s a gorgeous historic building owned by the same family for centuries and now converted into a beautiful boutique hotel balancing its history with contemporary interior style. The service was incredible - all the staff were amazing and always on hand to help with anything we needed.

"An oasis in center of crowded, noisy Jaipur. Comfortable room, good food. This is a small hotel and Staff made us feel we were a “community” rather than strangers"
"It was very comfortable and clean. It had amenities that we found useful, including around for rolling suitcases. The rooms, staff, and service were very traveler-friendly. "

"I stayed for five nights on my way to the Riff Festival in Jodphur and based on the advice of my friend, stage and film actress Miriam Margolyes, who had spent 15 days at Khatu Haveli filming the BBC series The Real Marigold Hotel. Having travelled a lot of India I consider it one of the best places that I have ever stayed in the country. The rooms are spotlessly clean, food is freshly made to dietary need and is delicious, hotel staff will go above and beyond where nothing’s a problem. There’s a lovely history to enjoy about the hotel and its family who run it. Mannish the hotel manager is a credit to the establishment. He consistently ensures his guests are happy and has a range of contacts around the city to organises trips, currency exchange etc and pride in making sure his guests are not scammed. If you are lucky enough to be invited to a morning chai with him at his favourite tea stand then you will discover he’s one of the safest drivers in Jaipur! The water at the hotel is filtered, kitchen and chef rigorous in their hygiene. The hotel met me at the airport on time from a late flight and ready with sandwiches and drinks on arrival. There’s good air conditioning, television, Wi-Fi and lovely large roof terrace. Service is available when it is needed. Located in the heart of this vibrant city, if they are not sold out and you are lucky enough to get a room then you will not be disappointed. Enjoy! "From the moment we drove into the property it was obvious we found some where special.
The check-in area is hand painted and beautiful - for a giggle you can find a painting with a tiger biting a bum.
Room was unbelievably spacious with a sit out and balcony - both were fantastic for nights after running around Jaipur. Bed was very comfortable as well.
Restaurant was excellent - so much food and so good. So good. We wound up eating at hotel every night. Breakfast was also wonderful. Watermelon juice and poha were yummy. Great selection of items to choose from.
Cannot recommend this place enough for anyone spending time in Jaipur!"
"I have Booked the deluxe suite for our parents. They liked everything about it. The traditional decor, their food and their service was very nice. We have requested for a ground floor room and they happily provided it. Overall they had a great time.
Thank you. "

The location is brilliant - it’s set right in the centre of the city within striking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The area is a historic and densely populated part of Jaipur a diverse areas including traditional residential properties, markets, and historical sites. While the area immediately around the hotel may face challenges associated with informality or poverty, I strongly disagree to the statement I read in a customer review somewhere that this hotel was in the middle of a slum. That is unfair and untrue - the area felt safe and is reflected of the city and country, one of the fastest growing economies in the world - full of extremes. If you’re uncomfortable with that maybe look at yourself and why you’re uncomfortable with this rather than unfairly catorgorising a neighbourhood and the people who live and work there.
The hotel at the time we stayed was still relatively new and had a few teething issues which they welcomed feedback on to improve. They are keen to make the best of this place so I’m sure once they into the stride will grow from strength to strength.
Thanks for a wonderful and memorable stay.

"A beautiful peaceful accommodation in the heart of the city, the family live in the property and take care of you as a member of the family, it is very clean and taken care of well, the court yard is beautiful and the WiFi is very good. Overall a wonderful stay."
"Jaipur Haveli was a dream! Vikram and his family were wonderful hosts. We were there over Holi and they included all guests in their celebration - it was fantastic! The breakfast everyday was filling and delicious, the bed was really comfortable, and the AC worked really well. Would recommend anyone stay here that wants a true Pink City experience! "
