Family Holiday

On arrival we were very shocked at the difference between the pics and the actual , not false but just big letdown . booked on a dinner bed and breakfast basis , but the options available was shocking , we ended up having Pizza for supper every night and with breakfast i had to see kids disgruntled faces because not even eggs or omelettes was decent :( staff were extremely friendly , but the language barrier was a very big problem !

Nous sommes restés 3 semaines à l hôtel Élysée très bien installés dans le bungalow avec 2 grandes chambres à côté de la piscine. La plage de sable à 100m dès la sortie de la résidence une magnifique vue sur la mer et les barques des pêcheurs. Merci à Virginie et Greg propriétaires de l hôtel qui crée une ambiance familiale à cette hôtel où nous avons fais de belles rencontres.

I was expecting more considering the pictures that I saw. The bedroom was not good, curtains all the times closed because there was a stair outside of the building. Bathroom was not good too. In general it is a old hotel. Wi-fi only at the reception. In general it is not a good place to stay. If I knew beforehand the installation and how old the hotel was, I'd have paid a bit more and stayed in a better place.

Excellent Staff & very good value for money.

The receptionist Anusha was very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and she assisted us with everything we asked. The cleaning staff were excellent. Our room was cleaned to a very high standard and they were very efficient. The rooms are not luxurious, but this hotel room was comfortable and had everything you needed. I believe that this hotel deserves a 3 star rating at least. The breakfast was very good and relaxed. The hotel is situated a few minutes from the beach and has enough restaurants within walking distance to meet anyone's requirements. The bus stop is just over the road with buses going to Port Louis.

Very clean though basic room. A kettle would be nice. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic continental breakfast. No wifi except in reception. Great location, just across the road from the beach. Restaurants nearby. Would stay again if on a tight budget.

Hotel hat die guten Tage hinter sich

Das Standard Zimmer geht zur lauten Küstenstraße raus. Die aufgemotzten Motoren sind bei den Mauritianer offenbar sehr beliebt. Die neuen (!) Bettlaken hatten alle gelbliche, eckelige Flecken in verschiedenen Größen. Das kann man aber erst erkennen, wenn man die Vorhänge beiseite schiebt. Auf unsere Beschwerde wurde diese gegen makelose Laken getauscht. Mit diesen Matratzen sind wir morgens immer mit Rückenschmerzen aufgewacht. Die Rezeption war am Sonntag Nachmittag unbesetzt. Nach unserem Klingeln ging ein Warnton an, auf den über Stunden niemand reagierte - außer die anderen Gäste. Die Zimmerschlüssel -auch unserer- lagenfrei zugänglich auf dem Rezeption-Tisch herum; das Restaurant im Hotel war geschlossen. Unglaublich, Sicherheit ist was anderes! Nach wenigen Tage versagte die Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Diese wurde zwar noch am Abend repariert, versagte nach einem weiteren Tag erneut. Zum Frühstück bekamen wir Instant-Kaffee und Tee mit Milch. Dazu wurden warme Blätterteigteilchen, Baguette Brot mit Butter, gelber und roter Marmelade gereicht. Im Hotel machen auch Einheimsche Urlaub, wie man auch an anderen Bewertungen erkennt. Das Ergebnis der Pool-Reinigung war für uns nicht erkennbar.

Waren für eine Woche da. Sehr nettes Personal. Das Appartement war gut und sehr geräumig. Auch die Außenanlage war ordentlich und gepflegt. Einzig der Wasserdruck oben in der Dusche hätte etwas höher sein dürfen. Ansonsten sehr gutes Hotel

Olala, Les plus : un accueil sympa ainsi que le personnel, le gardien est super sympa aussi, chambre propre proximité de la plage de trou aux biches Les moins : aucune pression dans la douche un filet d'eau le technicien n'a pas pu nous dépanner il devait garder le bar, la fenêtre de la sdb donne dans le couloir pas possibilite de la fermer c'est un style de store vraiment étrange, le restaurant est fermé le dimanche soir personne ne nous en a informé, le personnel n'a pas l'air super heureux une drôle d'atmosphère règne dans cet hôtel !!!

Ett trevligt och prisvärt hotell!

Det visade sig att vi var de första gästerna efter en stor renovering. Fick ett mkt rent och trevligt rum och eftersom vi hade beställt halvpension blev vi också serverade mkt god och vällagad mat. Familjen som driver hotellet gjorde allt för att vi skulle trivas och vi kan mkt väl tänka oss att komma tillbaka!

Face petit port a 5 Mn plage a pied et d'un pt supermarché et 10 Mn de boutiques. Appartement avec Pte terrasse privative. Tout l équipement nécessaire. Nbreux petites échoppes a 2 Mn pour boissons produit première nécessité .....

AU TOP ! DES GERANTS DISPO & SOURIANTS

Nous avons choisis cette hôtel grâce aux conseils d'une amie.Nous étions 3 filles. J'ai fais une erreur lors de ma réservation, en mettant 2 personnes au lieu de 3. Le gérant nous a directement arrangé et nous a proposer un studio pour le même prix. Les gérants et employés sont super accueillants, souriants et disponibles. Le studio propre et bien aménagé. L'hôtel très bien situé juste à coté de la plage de trou au biche 5 minutes à pied et 10 minutes de la plage de Mont Choisy en voiture. Nous le recommandons très fortement !!!!
