We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber and wholeheartedly recommend this resort. As a first-time mom traveling overseas with my baby, I was initially nervous about whether we’d be able to enjoy the trip. However, this resort made everything so much easier right from our arrival. All of our luggage was delivered directly to our room by golf cart, and since they already knew we were traveling with a baby, the room was thoughtfully prepared with a crib, changing table, baby bathtub, and even a complimentary toy placed on the bed. We were also provided with freshly cooked baby food purees on request—of any ingredients we wanted, depending on availability. What impressed us most was the flexibility: whether we were at the beach, by the pool, in the restaurant, or in our room, they were happy to bring the food wherever we needed it. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, often stopping by to play with our son or check if we needed anything. One evening, they even surprised us with a cake and drinks to celebrate our anniversary—such a thoughtful gesture! Before our departure, we faced a long 16-hour night flight and asked for a late check-out. Although it’s subject to availability, the team made a real effort to accommodate us. Special thanks to Loveish for helping coordinate this so we could rest longer before the journey. Lovely hotel and a great beach. Stayed in a tropical junior suite and it’s spacious enough for 2 adults and a teenager. Bathroom is great and there is also an outside shower. Breakfast is varied and the area is kept spotless (such an improvement compared to Constance Belle Mare). We had dinner at Caravelle and Blue Ginger, all very nice. Lunch was at La Plage and it’s good. Beach service is efficient. Would come back!

An amazing hotel with wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for organising our anniversary dinner in La Carvelle restaurant and to Pravest for waiting on us that evening. Roshan the driver for being an amazing guide for the day. Then there were Yasmin, Sanjay, Dasmuth, Jocelyn and Busgeet (hope I haven’t missed anyone) at the beach bar who were so cheerful and looked after us so well. Thank you to all other staff - too many to mention but you were amazing.

Truly stunning hotel with beautiful rooms, an outdoor shower which I loved, great facilities, including a fantastic gym with all the equipment you’d expect, lots of complimentary watersports like SUP, waterskiing, windsurfing, etc. The food average and I didn’t like the à la carte restaurant reservation system as it always seemed to be fully booked out.

The hotel is amazing. Beautiful food at the buffets and restaurants. Some of the best I’ve had at a buffet service. Beach is beautiful. Staff are lovely and helpful. David & Mr V at the scuba place are amazing and so good at alleviating fear for first timers and making it a great experience. Not a slight as the hotel, but be careful if booking the hooneymoon option through hotels.com. The website doesn’t allow you to select package and so on arrival we were told we had only be booked as breakfast only. The system isn’t great and certainly not clear. We had to pay additional £££ for a 9 night stay to upgrade to half board, which is what we thought we had booked anyway! Long story, I’d say go direct if you’re staying here as honeymooners.

The property is wonderful. We didn't go off property much (No need to) but the area around looked like typical Island community. We will go there again. The only issue we had was with getting reservations for the properties restaurants. They need a betteron-line system for doing that.

The beach is stunning. The grounds are spotless. Water sports club is amazing. In general staff are very friendly but the service is incredibly slow and not massively helpful. We stayed B&B and very glad we did as delicious food in local restaurants a 5 min walk away and literally a quarter of the price. In the hotel we purchased a small plastic bottle of water & Diet Coke (warm) and it cost nearly £10! Would highly recommend if you like the beach and water sports as most are included.

Nice room, nice hotel facilities. Friendly staff, good food. I would especially like to mention that even with half board it is possible to eat in 4 different restaurants in addition to the buffet without having to pay a surcharge. This was not always the case in other hotels in Mauritius, which is why I appreciate it very much. As a tip for other guests: book your table for the restaurants right at the beginning of your stay, otherwise you don't always get a seat. There are a large number of tennis courts, the gym has modern equipment. There are enough sunbeds on the beach.
