"Room was very nice and clean. Only annoying thing was this exhaust fan in the bathroom had a rattling noise whenever you turned on the light. Other than that, it was a very nice place to stay at."

"The staff is very polite and helpful. They let me know where everything was and gave us great tips for the island. The room was very clean and well maintained we were happy with it. Breakfast was a great inclusion and if you wanted there was a restaurant, bar and pizza spot on site, very convenient that we didn’t have to leave once we got there, food was good. The balcony and outside of the property needed a good power wash from bugs and fish flies. Other than that the property was very beautiful and clean. It was nice addition to have coffee and ice water in the hall at all times. The beach was included chairs and volleyball, the water isn’t as clean as on the island but still worked. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!"

"The room was adequate with a nice balcony overlooking the water. Bathroom was good but nothing fancy. Indoor and outdoor pools were well maintained. Breakfast was good. Minimal equipment in the gym. Our AC was marginally working the first night but they fixed it immediately. Nice shuttle to Shepler’s for the fairy to Makinaw Island."

"We stayed two nights. Check in, check out was good. Room was comfortable. We like to leave the bathroom light on at night as a night light but the light was tied into a noisy fan. Overall this seems to be a nice place to stay. We happened to pick the wrong weekend. There was a major car show and the hotel was packed with hot rods, muscle cars, etc, that we nice to look at but not fun at 2, 3, and 4 in the morning when they competed for two nights to see how loud they could be. The parking lot was filled and they were putting benches and chairs in parking spaces to reserve them. Management had no control over who was parking in the lot. The vehicles were cruising the highway all day and night and the motel grounds and parking lot was filled by guests and non guests alike who came to watch the continuous parade. We will check in the future for major city events before going on vacation."
