The restaurant is immediately outside/in front of all the rooms, so the seating area is immediately outside each room.
They blasted pop music until 10:10pm.
Then, the cooks were back at 6:45am setting up for the day and talking loud. So, your basically right next to a kitchen and restaurant, and you will wake up to them setting up the cafe.
They didn’t even apologize.
The pool is given chemicals during the day, rather than having the night shift do it at 2am. So, you can only use half the pool, then the other half, alternating days. But, there’s no sign for this. You have to ask.
And, when I was swimming, chilling, reading by pool, there was a drill and crew working. When I told management, they shrugged their shoulders, dismissed it bc it was day time.
Room is spacious. Super basic. Over-priced. This level of treatment and basicness of room usually goes for $50 in Tulum.
Restaurant workers not conscientious that ppl want to relax, rest. Unaware that it’s a hotel first. You’ll get more rest at a shared hostel.
Front desk ppl were friendly.
