"The room was outdated and hair in the bed. I was there for a family function and need a place I almost went somewhere else but everything was sold out. The staff was a bit rude"
"If there was an option to give negative stars I would 100% do so. This hotel and staff were the worst encounter with "hospitality" I have encountered. The room was booked on hotels.com and once I checked into our pet friendly room, it was the most disgusting room I have been in. My daughter, cried at the thought of staying in a room that was so gross. I went back down to let them know that we would not be staying and they refused to check me out or offer a reimbursement. The clerk first said he could not do anything because it was booked through third party. Then later told me his manager would have to approve and when I asked him to call the mangers he flat refused. He offered me another room that was equally disgusting. Their " pool" that was advertised was a cess pool. That had a room that was housing dead plants.
They informed me I needed to pay the pet deposit at which point I refused as we were not staying there. I contacted hotels.com and they were equally as helpful.
So we started off our vacation biting it on 277$ as my family would not stay there. It was the worst way to start vacation. It was the very worst experience I have had dealing with anyone. So please don't stay there- you will thank me later"
Three Bears Waterpark Resort Near Tomah, Ascend Collection Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"Was disappointed that half the waterpark was shutdown, especially having 3 littles and not being able to use that section we intended to hence why we booked there. When we went to the restaurant, I had to ask to have our table wiped down and no one was in the restaurant. Our buzzer never went off for our food, when we got our food it was cold. Talked to the cashier about it and they just smiled and said sorry. I walked up again and as I was walking up they made sure to grab the tip jar and put it on the counter and when I walked away they took it off. The room was at least up to a semi decent standard minus the the panel ripping out of the wall. Got charged an extra 30 dollars at the door for using expedia... Frustrating experience with kids."
"Honestly loved this hotel. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. We will be staying here again! Family of 4, 1 night stay."
"I liked this place as the room was fine, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, and the location was good as there was a gas station right next to the site, and also a very nice Mexican restaurant was right next to the motel."
