Bath with hand held shower difficult to navigate as panels too high and no grab rail. However pluses far outweigh the negatives. For those - like us - using Perugia as base to c For independent travellers HGWeJA is very accessible by public transport. It is about 1km from the main rail station. You can get buses (B,C)to and from the bus station which stop very near the hotel. The TS circular bus (Mon- Sat) will take you into the historical town in less than ten minutes and return you in under 15 minutes. Recommend Umbria50 7 day card for €45 - "

"We chose this hotel because it was on the outskirts of Perugia and it had a carpark. It is a lovely comfortable modern hotel. The room was spotless when I moved in, but the bins weren't always emptied completely. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. We tried the restaurant for dinner: it is Italian/Japanese fusion. Some dishes were lovely (the aubergine starter); but some were disappointing (my fish was overcooked); the others were also not enamoured....there are plenty of nice restaurants in the neighbourhood!!"

"This hotel has so much potential, but many details are missing. From music to create a pleasant atmosphere in the communal areas, especially restaurant and breakfast space. (So awkward to hear everyone chew their food around you and the kitchen staff comments in the background) To electrical jobs left undone in the room leaving holes in the ceiling right above our heads on the pillows, or dead light switches that forced us to get up from the bed to turn the lights on and off. Good features were: spacious rooms, enormous beds and great walk in shower. Also the Tesla chargers and the location right next to the motorway exit arr very convenient. Wouldn’t come back if not at a super cheap rate."
