"It is way out in the country 15 km from civilization. Individual cabins with fabric walls and roof. Common shower with an outdoor walk from the cabin. Very clean, very nice, very different. English not spoken. Horses, ATVs available to visit canyons, but most days the clouds are so low that visibility is poor, but the roads to get to the canyons by auto are worse than the visibility."

"My family was making a 8 hour trip and this was the half way point for us. We have stayed in many hotels and this by far was on the top of our list. We have a 2 year old and a 1 month old and this was the perfect place. Breakfast was amazing and far surpassed our expectations. Very good food. My wife cant eat gluten or drink milk and still it was able to satisfy her for breakfast with no issue at all. If we ever make thos trip again, we will for sure stay here. "It's a very old hotel, seems renovated in the end 80's, Staff were very friendly. Price was excellent for what you get. Need renovation? yes but cannot ask more for the price I paid. I thought I would not have warm water and it had, the bathroom was clean, towels in good conditions, it will be my choice for my next stay in Torres."

"The staff and service were great. The room was old and stuck in the 80's at best. The window AC was old and falling apart. The floor tiles were worn out in some parts. There were patches of mud (dry wall compound) on some parts of the wall that were not even sanded. The bathroom had black mildew around the shower stall. The bathroom was a Jack and Jill, but one of the doors was very hard to close. The windows were original to the era, so lots of wind would sneak in and the room was cold. They could have used a rubber gasket around the ends to ensure guest comfort. The breakfast buffet was so-so. Cold cuts included cheese and ham only. Only two types of fruit: papaya and cantaloupe. The coffee was bitter. Breads and cakes were very good. Location is hard to find at night, but the view and outdoor facilities are very nice. The view of the ocean is beautiful. There are two adjacent restaurants to the hotel and they looked very nice and clean. We did not eat there because our stay was very short. Overall, I do not think I would go back there. I give the place 2 stars because of the neglect. "
